 Shopping and Booking your appointment. Why are appointments necessary? What do I bring to my appointment?

  • In order to give you the full attention of our experienced consultants, appointments are necessary to try on dresses.  

  • Bridal gown appointments are 1.5 hours-2 hours.   During sample sales, the appointments are one hour only.

  • Bring pictures of dresses you’ve seen on our website, in magazines, on social media, or that you’ve tried on elsewhere. And bring an open mind. Don’t be surprised if you find “the dress” on your first visit to Collezione Fortuna.   Please  bring a pair of shoes in  the height you plan to wear on your Wedding Day with your Wedding Dress, and undergarments for you to use when you try on gowns. As a health issue,  under panties must be worn in order to try on any of the dresses.

  • Bring the closest friend or family member whose opinion value and knows you well and with whom you trust,
  •  who knows you well,  and with whom you want to share the experience of buying your gown. Bringing more than 2  people to the appointment may be over-welming, and can take the focus away from you..THE Bride-to-be!

When are appointments available?

Store hours are Monday, 11 am-4 pm, Closed on Tuesdays, Weds.-Sat.  11 am-6 PM, Sunday- 11:30-4 pm.

Appointments may be made anytime during the above normal business hours. 

 Weekday appointments are available if you are not able to come in on the weekends, which are the busiest days.  We may accommodate appointments before hours, however, some restrictions apply.  Please give us a call at the the store  (831)-626-1287 for more information.


Do you charge for appointments?

We do not charge for appointments.  However, should someone  make an appointment "in behalf of the Bride" or book several weeks in advance, we may require a Credit Card to hold the appointment.  The Reservation fee is $100.  This will be charged to your card " for no shows" and " last minute cancellations" including on the  day of the scheduled appointment.   The fee is non-refundable, however we will gladly apply  this amount to the purchase of your wedding dress on the day of your appointment only.  Although someone is knowingly helping the Bride with her appointments, we would love to speak with the Bride to be sure she is aware someone is making the appointment for her. 

What is the price range of your Wedding dresses you carry?

Our price range is EXCELLENT!!!!!  Our Designers are THE BEST in the industry!  Prices start at $1500.  to  $3500.  Mid-range is $2500-$2800.  We are a full service bridal salon here in Carmel-by-the-Sea,CA.  We carry SIX major designers for Bridal and do not mislead anyone to believe we carry a designer we do not have access to their Collections!

It is my very first appointment "trying on " Wedding dresses.  Is it possible that I may find "THE DRESS of my DREAMS" at the appointment ?  I didn't try on that many dresses. What do I do?

The answer to your questions is "YES"!!!!!  There is a possibility you may find your wedding dress at your very first appointment!  You will know instinctively if  "IT'S  THE ONE", and do not be afraid! There is absolutely no reason to keep looking if you do!  Relax and  "Just "SAY YES" to the dress and be relieved and think of how fun it will be to continue planning your wedding!  We are here to help you!

What size range do you carry and  are there dresses I can purchase off the rack?

 Our Bridal gown sizes vary depending on the style of the dress anywhere from a size 10 to an 18.  All styles are available in PLUS SIZES as a "Special Order" at this time.  We do Custom changes, rush orders, however these charges are EXTRA.  Alterations are always extra. All of our Collections extend their sizes to accommodate Plus Sizes up to a SIZE 30  as a special order.  We have one company who does not charge extra for PLUS SIZES.  Please inquire within.   We have an amazing "SALE RACK"  25%-50% off select styles and sizes.  Sale items cannot be on "hold", must be purchased same day of your appointment, and are "CASH and CARRY".

Is it possible that I may find everything I need to complete my Wedding dress ensemble at Collezione Fortuna?

  ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!  Why not and why wait?  Coordinate everything together with your wedding dress and save time and money!   Ask about our "Incentive Program!

May we take photos of all the dresses we try on during our appointment?

     Unfortunately, photos are not allowed.  IT'S A COPY-WRITE VIOLATION governed by Intellectual Law mandated by the designers.  You may take photos of the wedding dress you say YES" to once the deposit are paid and formalities are completed.   Then you may "snap away", and don't forget to TAG us and  to use #CollezioneFortunaBridalsCarmel if you choose to share on Social Media!  

How much of a deposit is required when I place my order of MY WEDDING Dress?  How much time does it take to order my dress?  What is the price range of your wedding dresses?

**70% deposit is required on all Wedding Dress orders over $1500.  Your balance is due 30 days before the approximate arrival of your order.  Wedding dresses under $1500 . are paid in full at the time of purchase/time order is placed. Veils, hair accessories must be paid in full at the time of the order.  Your wedding dress is made to order and not a MASS PRODUCED item which takes approximately 14-22 weeks to make.   Questions or concerns? We always encourage to ask because we are here to help you!  Price range of ALL of our COLLECTIONS is  approximately $1100-$3500. without inclusive of SALES TAXES, ALTERATIONS, SPECIAL CUSTOM MEASUREMENT FEES,  OR RUSH FEES.  We accept GLADLY ACCEPT CASH, VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AND ALL MAJOR DEBIT CARDS as a method of payment.  We apologize we do not accept Checks of any kind, Cashier's checks, money orders, Bitcoin, or Foreign Currency.

May I schedule an appointment for my Wedding Dress and Bridesmaids dresses all in one appointment?

**Separate appointments are recommended when it's time to order your Bridesmaid's Dresses.

What is the price range of your Bridesmaids dresses and how do I know my size?

** We offer a spectacular collection of the highest quality Bridesmaids dresses.  Price range is $250-$350.  Size range is 2-32 in a wide array of colors and styles shown in Bridal Magazines.  There may be an extra charge for "PLUS SIZE" depending on the designers.  RUSH FEES are not included or alterations.  The companies require we ask that all Bridesmaids dresses be paid in full at the time of your appointment to be measured.  We will help guide in selecting the perfect Bridesmaid's dress, and color palette to fit your theme and Venue!  Bridesmaid's dresses take 14 weeks to order, and RUSH FEES apply if you  are in a "time crunch"!  We will take your measurements once your payment is made, and your selection, colors theme is selected.  All of the dresses are ordered at the same time to assure they will arrive together, and in time for your Bridesmaids to be fitted.  The cost of the dresses are NON-REFUNDABLE.   Please feel free to "reach out" anytime with any questions or concerns!
